Rom Database?
« on: January 17, 2009, 07:47:42 pm »
My computer went to heck the other day and I lost all my bookmarks. I can't remember what the site was, but I'm looking for a website where it showed all the information about the roms. (what the all the file names were, all the files in the rom set, ect) I've tried searching around but am having trouble finding it. Does anyone know the site I'm talking about?

I do not know which site you speak of, but I can tell you if you sign up at [Removed, as I just read the rules  PM me with your email address and I'll give you the site.] you can download a full MAME .129 set of ROMS and CHD's, as well as marquees, etc...   You just have to make sure you keep your sharing ratio up to 1:1 after downloading (seed) or they will ban you from the site.

Also, may I recommend using Firefox in conjunction with Foxmarks?  That will keep all your bookmarks backed up online, I use it to sync bookmarks between 4 different computers, it works great!!!

Do NOT link to rom sites.  Read the rules!    ::)

Thank you Dazz, that is what I was looking for. I don't believe you can download any roms there, so the link should be fine!

5. Nothing illegal! Do I even need to explain this one? Need a ROM to repair an arcade board you own? Fine to talk about. Need a ROM to complete your MAME collection? Don't bother to post here.
