Need a couple of game recommendations
« on: January 10, 2009, 06:04:34 pm »
I've hit a wall on adding games to my favorites sections, I need a couple more high-score oriented games that allow save-states (so that way the high score sticks).  I have most of the big ones, but just thought I'd throw this up here and would see if anybody has any games that come to mind....

For sake of ease, I'll just say disregard that I mentioned that.  Got any good game recommendations?  :)

Hmmm... he asked for high-scored oriented games, and everyone is listing games that allow continues or have "endings". Aren't high-score oriented more the "infinite" style games like Robotron, Defender, PacMan, etc?
NO MORE!!

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Well, you can't really say Pac-Man, then. It has a definite end and a maximum score.

Technicality. It doesn't end the way Assault ends (ie: After 15 minutes of continues)
