I know about emumovies.com, but I need instant satisfaction and quite frankly a free download.  So does anyone have any suggestions on where to get video previews?

Not sure which FE you're using, but you can try to make your own.  In MAMEUI, there's an option to record an uncompressed .AVI file of a game, but I don't know how to do it when using another FE.

Yes there is, but it is TOTALLY worth the low cost to get FTP access. An unbelievable amount of effort went into the videos, so at the very least, try the videos out with the torrent, and then pony up for FTP access to show appreciation for the work (plus the FTP videos are more complete/newer, and you can get videos for a bunch of different emulators).

The mame intro vids I did for set 0.106 is available on [romsite name redacted] as a torrent.  Emumovies has of course got a far better video set than I created.

You know,  cd, we could create the .107 up to .130 videos if there was any demand for them, via mame's -mngwrite option and my mng2avi process.

Not sure how much interest there is now with all the work that circo has done for his sets.  I only stopped at 106 because 107 broke the whole batch procedure of creating the intro.  If there's a way to get them run through a batch then I'm happy to do it - might actually see what the new quad core pc I have can do.
