nulldc question
« on: December 24, 2008, 11:09:32 am »
I've never used nulldc and I just started with it and I'm having a problem.  I've doownloaded only 2 games to try it out and one is gauntlet ledgends and the other is resident evil.  Once I try play either game, it loads as a music cd and wont load them as a game.  Im pretty new with this so any help would be appreciated.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

How are you loading them, from an image or from a burned disc? (You have to load from an image)

nullDC 1.0.3 is still only playable with a Keyboard, right?  Is there any way to be able to use a game controller with it?  Thanks.

Ya I've been reading around and had some to the same conclusion.  The (place) I get my other files seems to have a listing for selfbooting roms so I'll try that and see if it works.

Download the joy2key program.  It maps keys on a keyboard to a joystick.
