outrun/turbo outrun help wanted
« on: November 13, 2008, 09:44:12 am »
Does anyone know what is involved in converting a Turbo Outrun machine BACK into an Outrun? I have a Turbo that is having problems, none of the obstacles appear on the screen anymore. I have what I think is a working Outrun board. I'd rather avoid a $200 board exchange if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think the conversion from Outrun to Outrun Turbo actually used the same board, just had some ROM and jumper changes on the same boardset if I'm reading this correctly.
Outrun Turbo Supplement

So if you have a working Outrun board then it should be just a board swap.
