Trivia - old Atari sports cocktails
« on: October 26, 2008, 08:30:43 pm »
I think I know a heck of a lot of arcade knowledge, but sometimes I still stumble on things that surprise me. I like to share these finds, so here goes with another one...

Most of us know "Atari Football" very well: http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=13018

It's known as the game that introduced the trackball controller, and had a pretty cool "standing" cocktail design and funky side art.

It surprised me to find that in that same year, they had Soccer:

... and Baseball in those same cocktail formats:

Football must have been the better game as I've never seen or heard of the other two.

NO MORE!!

Yah I was surprised to see an Atari Baseball on eBay recently, didn't know it existed... I like the design of the Soccer cabinet, very cool...!
