New USB joystick - have a look inside

(1/2) > >>

arcader_1984:
New retro USB joystick is now available:

http://www.legacyengineer.com/store.html

Look at the inside photo, hook ups for up to 10 buttons.     PCB could be used as an interface board for underneath arcade control panels.   Its all digital support, no trackball or other analog, but its a nice simple interface device.

Has a high poll rate, and no ghosting issues.

interesting, but personally i hated using those joysticks, good price for the hacking experts i suppose though

Singapura:
How's the durability of these joysticks? I broke quite a few in my '2600 times  8)

northerngames:
board is perfect for a 2-player nes cab with a shared 1-2 player start/select.

for anything more then 2 buttons a player 2 of these boards would be needed and probbaly be better off going with an ipac or keywiz type incoder for a couple bucks more and we know they have been proven to work great.

Nice.  I loved these back in the C64 days.
