What color is Cap Kit Goop?

I have an Atari AR-II -02 that works, but I noticed below 2 or 3 of the large caps, there is a bright orange goop. The caps don't look like they are leaking or bulging. Maybe this is an adhesive, or from previous caps, but.... I guess the question is, when a cap leaks, what color is the stuff that comes out?

No better not. Are those big caps ? Big caps sometimes need a little extra support. Sometimes they had 3 terminals instead of 2 and sometimes they even had a mechanical fixing (like a bolt).

I bet it's hot-glue.
Does it look hard now ? You could try to feel it but use some protection (this line is getting out of hand).....

If it's hard, it's not the gel from the inside, I guess that would stay kind of soft.

It is clear silicone glue that has yellowed/faded over time. It was put their by the factory to help support the weight of those capacitors to prevent them from fracturing the solder joints from vibration when the game was shipped from the factory.
