Just go hackintosh. You can by a disc of your favourite Lazy Horse (leopard) from Apple and mix and match it with whatever piece of chinese/taiwanese computing crap you like.
Why pay 170+ dollars for a piece of 1990's radeon9800 junk if you flash a 8800GT you buy for 90$ to work with leopard as easy. That is kind of different graphics power. 220 buck for the official apple branded Nvidia is still too much!

Ehhhh 9800 is not from the 90's. I bought mine (128mb version) when Half-Life 2 was released. That was about 4 years ago.

I STILL have my Amiga 1200, DCTV, VidiAmiga12, and Imagine 3.0 software. A friend of mine had the Opalvision board. Neither of us was rich enough as teens to afford a videotoaster, but I almost spent the extra 200 (over Imagine3.0) for Lightwave.

I'm tearing up just thinking about my Amiga, man that computer was great!!!

I did not have the toaster, but I did get to play with it alot as a friend and I convinced the company we worked for to purchase an Amiga with the video toaster and lightwave.  We worked for a marketing firm that made radio and television ads as well as advertising ads for newspapers.

PC's used for general purpose stuff.
Macs used for the publishing department.
Amiga used for the video production studio.

A great place to work and learn about all the comptuers out at the time.  My friend and I  used to be the unofficial "tech" guys and we used to repair the computer equipment when it crapped out.  We did not have to repair the Apple or Amiga equipment much at all.

okay, I'm done reminiscing...Sorry to bore you guys, I just get all sentimental when someone mentions the Amiga computer.
