Are you talking about "centiped marquee (unfinished)"? I've looked at that one in inkscape. Unfortunately I'm no artist, and I'm new to inkscape and vector images in general, so while I'm sure a full creature could be created out of the parts that are there, I think it would take a lot more effort than it should for me to do it.
Since I don't think this is going to happen unfortunately (I hoped I'd luck out and someone would say "yeah, I have that!"), I'm currently trying to figure out my plan B.
I'm open to ideas. Here's where I'm at with my panel. I have swappable panels, so the green rectangle and everything in it is the "swappable" part. Everything outside of it is the "fixed" (non-removable) part. I plan to keep the swappable part simple like that (I'm satisfied with that part but feel free to make suggestions). The part along the top is for buttons (exit, pause, p1, p2, p3, p4, pause, exit), located on each of the + marks.
It's the part along the bottom, and to a lesser extent the sides, where I'd like to add some finishing touches. My original idea was to have the centipede head sticking up the left side, with body along the bottom, weaving in and out of some mushrooms. I didn't intend to populate it with mushrooms to the degree that the marquee has them, but enough to make it look good without making it overly crowded/busy.
So that's the background. Now I'm trying to come up with the plan B. One idea I had which I'm not really in love with but may pursue as a worst case scenario is to have actual game graphics of the centipede, spider, mushrooms, etc. in that same area (maybe a centipede weaving in and out on the lower half of the left side and then along the bottom).
Any great ideas? I only want Centipede-themed images and I want it to have a nice flow.
