2player vs 4player
pinballwizard79:
How many games actually require a button #7?
My reason for asking: I am about to sell my current arcade for a UAII kit & a nice control panel from Arcadesrfun.
BTW, the machine looks pretty cool the way it is but I can understand wanting something with a smaller footprint.
Jdurg:
The only reason I could think of having four joysticks would be to play two player Smash TV, but for that you don't need the multiple buttons. I'd have to dig through MAWS, but I also can't think of any 4-player games where players 3 and 4 need more than 4 buttons.
Bleagh:
If you wanted to play the pc version of guilty gear isuka in 4 player mode you would need at least 5 or 6 buttons for all 4 players. Maybe you could use 6 buttons for all four players if you played any 4 player console emulators.
AwesomeAlbert:
I think some people have the extra buttons on player 3-4 for emulators and pc games but not mame.
You have an arcade, a kegerator and speed cube!!
Malenko:
seems like a waste of awesome artwork :p
MAME...you dont need more the 4 buttons for players 3 and 4, but if you play SNES,PSX,etc emulators then yeah you need em. 2 player panel would be much smaller but I will say this..... you have the best looking big control panel Ive seen it doesnt seem too big or overdone and you dont have extra flight sticks, multiple trackballs, multiple spinners, etc
