Painting The Game Room
« on: June 22, 2008, 02:56:40 am »
Decided a few days ago that I needed some color in the game room besides the drab white all over. So, I went down to Lowe's and bought a couple gallons of "Mercer Blue" and threw it on the walls. I think it turned out pretty good. Oh, I added a ceiling fan as well.  Here are some pics...

Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)

Should have been black.  Then you could have thrown up black light posters everywhere.

How many gallons did you use?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

He wouldn't have needed more than one. Probably has plenty of it left.

How many gallons did you use?

Only 3/4 of one gallon. The room is not that big.

I asked because you said you bought a couple gallons. I can tell by the pics you don't need that much paint - just curious why you needed so much.

Hmm.  For some reason I can't see any of the photos.  I guess photobucket doesn't like 64-bit software..............

Okay, nevermind.  I guess my DNS cache was STILL pointing to an address photobucket used to use that has long since died.  Just deleted and rebuilt the DNS cache and everything is good now.

I am going to paint the hallway, and the bathroom the same color. I guess I should have specified.

Looks Pretty Sleek and an especially good color choice for a game room with Mortal Kombat games in it.  I'm still in the process of coming up with my game room color choice.  Did you ever conside a two tone room?

My plan is to create a game room with an Asian Theme to it so I'm looking at various Asian colors that compliment each other.  I'll make the top 2 or 3 feet one color and the rest my main color.

Do you plan to hang up more posters and cool stuff?  Again great game room color choice.  If you want some more game room ideas check out www.game-room-decorating-ideas.com, there is a lot of great info there and the site keeps growing.  To get straight to some game room painting ideas go to www.game-room-decorating-ideas.com/floor-and-wall-designs.html
