  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction with the following problem:

I received a recently-purchased HS PCB today - it's a bootleg, but was sold as working. Installed into my Track n Field cab but on power up all I get is a yellow monitor screen. No sound, or anything.

I'm not sure how to go about finding the pinout of a bootleg PCB but the pins that would matter (ie +5) are conveniently marked and match the pinout of the wiring harness.

Ok, fixed the above - reseated some chips. But the speech sysnthesis is erm crap. I can't find the Sanyo chip that's supposed to be there so is it likely that since this is a bootleg tey just winged it? Bit disappointed with the speech tbh, might have to keep looking for an original Konami board.

Any help would be much appreciated, apologies if this is the wrong forum

Thanks
