Turner influenced my artwork greatly (and much to my Girlfriend's displeasure) back in High School. His work also led me to finally start paying attention to the artist names on the cover. If I saw Turner or Silvestri  on a cover - I knew it was worth looking at.

Very sad for such a talent to die so young, and in such a horrible way.

Yow, that sucks.  I am a fan of his too.  I've been meaning to take a closer look at Fathom but never seem to get around to it.  I think I will now.

I hate how it takes someone dying to have their work get noticed. I mean, he was a big name, but I'm in the same boat as Chad when comes to the "Oh, I guess I should check that out now" attitude.

That's not what I said... I know a lot of his work, I just haven't checked out Fathom specifically.

I was mostly into Witchblade. When he left Witchblade, it turned into a POS. I remember going seeing the new issue and saying "WTF is this?!?". It looked like a 10 year old had drew it.

I knew it would be taken wrong. I meant exactly the same thing you did. I always put Fathom off as well, and now I'm like, "Well, now I feel bad for not checking it out sooner"

When I said, "I hate how it takes someone dying to have their work get noticed," I meant by the mass public.
