New bartop cabinet kit!

For those bartop cabinet enthusiasts, www.mameroom.com has just released a new bartop kit designed specifically for LCD monitors.

It's more compact that the original version...plus it has cutouts for jukebox controls right on the front (Optional).

:applaud:  :woot My original is sitting in the basement because my 13in monitor went out. And I couldn't find another one. What size monitor fits in here?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Has anyone built a bartop out of one of these new Mameroom kits? I'd like to know how it turned out. I'm concerned about space for the computer (obviously mounted directly) and speakers.

How much are they?

I hope you are selling them under $300.

Otherwise good luck.

Like it, and the price is right. Doubt many will go with that choice of jukebox buttons on a bar-top though as it's a little cluttered.

Agreed.

Some thought needs to go into the footprint also.  Why does it have to be so deep, if a LCD is going to be in it?

Price is very competitive, and should be advertised especially for new builders on this site.  :applaud:

The reason is, he is competing with dream authentics, if he isn't making their cabs allready. :)
