DIY - Flux Capacitor
« on: June 09, 2008, 07:33:04 pm »
I'm new here, so I'm not sure if this is quite the right forum for this sort of thing....

I saw this on the Make blog and thought it would make an excellent addition to someone's arcade machine (possibly mine).

The instructions:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Flux-Capacitor/
The original blog post:
http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2008/06/how_to_build_your_own_flu.html?CMP=OTC-0D6B48984890

It's not perfect but it is pretty good.  I don't see why it couldn't be hooked up to some of the LED functions from MAME as well....

Where would you get the 1.21 GigaWatts to drive the thing? There's no mr. Fusion in the plans  ???

Wish list: Galaga, Pacman, Pooyan, Star Wars cockpit, Gauntlet, Tron

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.
