Neoragex problems, cant import roms
« on: May 11, 2008, 04:26:11 am »
Man oh man I have no idea what's going on here!  I cant get my roms to show up in neoragex.  I have tried all sorts of things for the last 5 hours or so.  Gotta love the readme and documentation coming with this... it's NOTHING!

The roms are "zipped" in a .rar file, I have tried putting them in the emulator directory, a C:\roms directory, un"zipping" etc, just cant get the crazy things to show up.

BTW, I do have the bios and such, so I don't think that is the issue here.

I hope someone has an idea cause I am seriously stumped  :banghead:

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Try to ZIP them individually instead.
Introducing The Tone Ledger, a premium 5x7 inch, 100 pg notebook designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists...pretty much anyone who enjoys using amps and pedals. Great for experienced musicians, hobbyists, or students just getting started.

I will try that.

It may have not read clearly, they are not zipped in a rar file, they are compressed into a rar file.  Sorry for the mis wording.

EDIT:  Tried decompressing them out of a rar format, then putting that in a .zip.  No dice.

Do you have the right romsets?
NeoRAGEx uses a different set from MAME.
