xp gold sp3 , keyboard problems?

I was tinkering around with XP gold sp3.
I like it ..... but 1 small problem.....
shift + 2 I get  this       =    "
shift + quote i get this =   @
shift + 3 I get this      =     £

can I fix this? 

the clock was set fot the UK.
I fixed that but I get no where on the key board settings in control panel
I deleted driver and rebooted but did not help.
PS2 keyboard made by AOPEN.  worked fine with all other windows

I have not tried XP RED, Black nor Blue yet
Gold seems cool so far
looks like vista. I did buy vista basic but did not like it. going back to XP

click these things:
Control Panel, (icon)
Regional and Language Options, (icon)
Languages, (tab)
Details... (button)

You should be able to figure it out from here, otherwise you should probably not be using warez.

thanks ... worked just like you said.
bought the box of pc parts at a yard sale. software was in the box. thought I might as well try it out.
darn thing updated at MicroSoft updates.
never herd of the gold,blue , ect till I bought them
