been seeing the dalai lama on tv a lot



and while they dont look that much alike (give him another 20 years) they certainly sound similar, don't you think? i wonder if yoda was based on the lama, with his sagely advice? of course the lamas is ultimately useless politically but maybe yoda is what the lama SHOULD be like- peaceful, but ready to weild a light saber at a moments notice?  :)
