Small Gameroom Project, Framed Nintendo Prints
« on: March 09, 2008, 02:20:28 pm »
I just completed this small addition to my gameroom. I built the frames from oak, and then added glass and black mats that I bought locally. I obtained the image files from the Video Game Art Archive (http://vgaa.emulationzone.org/) and then printed them on glossy paper on an inkjet printer.

Just as a heads up, I have media access to Nintendo's site, so I can pull a lot of official art and images if people are interested.

Check out what my wife's friend made for me recently. This is a watercolor painting:

That's really cool.  My wife's friends don't do stuff like that - they just like to sit around and complain about their lives.

Do they provide vector images to the media, or just hi-res renders?
