Spy Hunter: White bars?
« on: March 03, 2008, 10:38:13 am »
I have a Spy Hunter I am working on.  Everything is going OK so far except there are white bars at the top and bottom?  Is this normal?  Are they supposded to be there?

I found one thread over at rgvac that says it is normal.  You just need to adjust it out of view.  Anyone confirm?

Yes, those are normal, but usually the monitor width is adjusted so those aren't in the veiwing area.

You should be able to adjust that out.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping.  Now to find a decent cabinet or build a new one.   :(

Side art is ruined, bottom sides are badly damaged, and the whole thing is rickety.  My original machines don't have to be perfect by any means, but this one is unacceptable.

Got to admit though, a working Spy Hunter with a bad cab is a problem I wouldn't mind having.

Good luck with the refurb.
