Mamewah Xpadder Command Lines
« on: February 01, 2008, 09:58:10 am »
Can anyone post some INIs for mamewah, or just the command needed to load xpadder profiles on startup and then remove them on exit?

For instance, Im using two wireless Xbox 360 controllers and I want to load one profile for Mame, to let them be players 3 and 4, but on SNES games I want them to load another profile that lets them be players 1 and 2.

I just dont know the syntax to load or unload xpadder.

Thanks for the help!

Code: [Select]
### mame37.ini (mamewah v1.62) ###

emulator_title                            Mame 37

### List Generation Settings ###
rom_path                                  e:\VideoGames\mame37\roms
rom_extension                             zip
dat_file                                  C:\videogames\mame37\Masterdat.dat
nms_file                                  auto:[emuexepath]\[emuexename].nms
catver_ini_file                           auto:[emuexepath]\catver.ini
list_generation_method                    rom_folder_vs_dat_file

### Execution Settings ###
pre_emulator_app_commandlines     C:\videogames\Xpadder\xpadder.exe mame37 {nowait}{autoquit}
emulator_commandline                      C:\videogames\mame37\mamewpp.exe [name]{nodosbox}

I'm using the November edition of xpadder. I don't know how much has changed since then. But I know that you need one profile per controller. When loading more then one profile you would load it like this:
Code: [Select]
C:\videogames\Xpadder\xpadder.exe mamep1 mamep2 {nowait}{autoquit}

Thanks for the reply!

Do you know is there any way to unload xpadder upon exit?  Or is the program just going to stay active (in the system tray) with whatever profile you last pushed to it?

Code: [Select]
pre_emulator_app_commandlines     C:\videogames\Xpadder\xpadder.exe mame37 {nowait}{autoquit}That's what the {autoquit} option does. It kills the process once you exit the emulator. You are using the latest version of mamewah right?
