Atomic FE users
« on: January 18, 2008, 11:20:35 am »
I just downloaded Atomic FE and I'm currently running it for MAME32.

I have two questions that maybe someone can help with:

1. When I run a game it is off center on the screen and to the right a few inches. This is with every game. When do you go to fix the "centering" of the display?

(This one is more of a MAME question I believe.)

2. How do I get ride of the fake bezels on my roms when playing the games like MS Pacman, Burgertime etc. Which part of the zip file for that game do I delete to get rid of this effect?

Any help would be awesome.
Thanks!

Are on an LCD or CRT? MAME is changing the resolution and your monitor just needs to be tweaked. If it's an LCD, there should be an "auto" button or similar; on a CRT you'll have to go through menus.

Hi,

I think in mame32 somewhere you have option to remove bezel.

Here may be :

Uncheck Bezel, overlay, etc...

If you change it from mame32 , i guess it will change the his ini file, and then Atomic will use this setting when it runs your mame.

These settings are not linked to Atomic. But Mame.

Also, you really should consider just using the command line version of Mame...
