Emulaxian help
« on: January 13, 2008, 01:37:08 pm »
Hi, all: I"m curious if you guys can either offer suggestions or point me toward a thread/sticky with suggestions (I can't find any) for setting up an alternate, much simpler version of Emulaxian for my guests to use.

I'm comfortable using the game list, and then using my start/enter buttons to navigate through the various levels of game choices. However, guests get very confused when they use the cabinet.

I'd like to set it up so that they can easily choose an arcade game or console game without getting lost. It may be that I should do a version of Emulaxian that's arcade games only, which is what I'm leaning toward...But even then, I'm not sure how to set up things so that they can clearly, easily choose games.

By the way, I don't have enough space on my cabinet to do like the MissionControl arcade cabinet builder did and put buttons for each function (a button to choose arcade games, a button to choose NES games, etc.), so that suggestion wouldn't work.

Thanks in advance for your help...and sorry for the very long post!
