Joust Joystick Replacement
« on: November 28, 2007, 04:19:42 am »
In my small collection of arcade games is a Joust Cocktail unit.  ;D
The machine needs some basic restoration. The joystick controllers are the old leaf switch style.

One switch has ceased to function and the other switch is not much better.     What is the best control to replace the original 2 way Williams controllers?
The area under the CP doesn't have much space as the cocktail style has a shelf to support the separate controls on each side of the coin door.
Is there a controller that I can attach my original sticks to?
What needs to be done to adapt a 4 way controller to 2 way function?

I probably need to have the PCBs gone over by someone who can troubleshoot Williams boards.
If anyone knows of a source for repair I would appreciate any info.

                                                                                                             Thanks
