You'll get a white residue if you put too much in - it hazes. When I've used it for pinball repairs, filling in chips on inserts. You want to use water-clear superglue, put in a tiny, tiny amount, and let it dry (you can add multiple layers this way). The end result is an acrylic-like clear seal.
