Vision Pro M# KT-2938f Sparking
« on: October 06, 2007, 05:47:07 pm »
Inside the tube just as the monitor stars it will start sparking around where the flyback hooks up. I know it spent 1 - 2 hours in a light rain.
Could it have water in it?
If so what can be done about it?

discharge the tube, remove the anode cap and clean the surround of the hole with a light cleaning fluid on sprayed on a paper towel(do not spray on to the tube),do the same with the anode cap and make sure everything is perfectly dry-make sure you blow out any debris in the hole as well then reconnect

Sorry I guess I should have made a new post for this question.

What I would like to find is info about the resolution and any other settings I may need to know about.
