PLAYTV UNLOCKS FREE DIGITAL TV ON PLAYSTATION 3

It adds 2 HD tuners to the PS3, electronic TV guide and PVR software. Odd that it's set to work with DVB-T though. I thought most people had cable these days.

Yay, for only $500 more dollars, you can have an even BIGGER piece of crap Sony product. YAY!! ;D
Seriously though, does anyone have any idea of when this would hit the US (if ever) and how much it would cost?

I saw a video of it in action at Gizmodo via Kotaku today.  It looks pretty ---smurfing--- great.  The interface is fantastic and the speed at which it is able to zip through the channel guide is amazing.  We've grown so accustomed to slow-ass guides that you don't even realize that they can go so much faster until you actually see it happening.
