Does anyone remember a Motorcycle game.........
« on: August 15, 2007, 01:37:39 pm »
Sometime in the 80's it was a motorcycle game where you jumped busses. Everytime you made a jump a bus was added. I dont remember much else.

Thx

Yup! Stunt Cycle was it! But it does not appear that Mame supports it. I cannot find it in my ROMS or in gamelist.txt

Does anyone know if it is emulated?

Thx
Mark

No, Stunt Cycle, like Pong is a discrete logic game (no microprocessor). At one time, Pong was kludged in, but wasn't actually emulated and therefore got removed in a later version.

Hhmm.... maybe it's an opportunity for M.A.S.E?

As I recall, a couple of years ago somebody was working on re-creating the game logic for Stunt Cycle within a stand alone emulator.  Last I knew the project fell to the wayside (would have been a pretty big undertaking!) and never made it to a release candidate.

If you spend some time with Google you might be able to turn up a page or some references to the project.
