I still like my original better so far. As soon as microcrap fixes all the bugs in the 360 I'll buy one then but as it stands...they kinda suck. All my friends that ran out and bought one have had to send they'res back. And my softmodded is still running strong. Yes the graphics are'nt as good but mine doesn't freeze up and die in the middle of a game or movie.

I use my xbox exclusively for Xbox media center, Streaming video from my home server and playing mp3's through my stereo. Occasional emulation & Lego star wars.

the xbox1 gets alot less play after the purchase of an Elite sent the PS2 upstairs next to it. But yes, XBMC is one great piece of Software, I use its Sleep timer at night all the time to leave movies on and shut off when theyre done, i might have missed it, but i wish XBMC had a repeat feature for DVDs...

From what ive read, they HAVE fixed the 360 heatsink problems.
They DO throw out a ton of hot air though.

Now that I've finally got the update for Morrowind and it plays on the 360, my original Xbox is boxed up and put away...

I actually just did a softmod on my son's Xbox and have enjoyed setting up XBMC and learning what it can do.

Since he got grounded from it for a week, I have plenty of time to make some additions, changes etc.

That is pretty funny because that is what I did too. Junior was grounded so I had fun with it. XBMC is a blast. I have learned a little about it and actually fixed the imdb scraper before they broke it again. I have also messed a little with the skin and added a count down for videos and added then end time. It is a lot of fun.

I still have mine and not getting a 360 or ps3 to their price hits a normal gaming reality there just too much still

Mine gets used on a daily basis for XBMC. I haven't played games on it for months, but there are still games on there I'm not done with. Just don't have any time lately.

xbox media center is a dashboard and does EVERYTHING ! http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/

you can totally customize everything including the 360 skin..I made my own check it out !

wish I had broadband access to go live and battle you in some street fighter it's hard to find good competition for me on that game.

I'm using unleashx with xbmc as an app. The scripts in xbmc are the best anything streamed can be played on it.
