« on: June 07, 2007, 03:33:14 am »
:notworthy:Hi, im new here and have alot to offer this site. Anyways I have been an arcade fan since long ago and I just bought my "ULTIMATE ARCADE 2 cutouts"  and everything needed from the plans. I had sevral questions? ???

How did you trace the plans? did you just past the actual plans to the mdf board then cut it or used tracing paper under the plans? please tell me the way you did this because I seriously dont wana f**k up everything.

Is there a link if anyone who has build this arcade themselfs and has step by step to it?

sorry for asking such a stupid question.  :notworthy:

From the Mameroom site.

No measuring required and no costly mistakes. Just glue, tape, or trace the templates onto the wood material and cut.

If you want only one cab then glue or tape  and cut.  If you might want to make another cab or you have a friend who might want a cab then trace.  When you trace you have to secure your plans on at least one side (tacks or tape) so it will always be in the same position when you are moving the carbon (tracing) paper around under the plans.   Look for the largest sheets of carbon paper that you can get.

Another thing you can do is make templates out of poster board (or something similiar to card stock)....then, if you want to pop out another, just lay down your template trace it and cut out the new cab
