Cheats, Tricks and Bugs
On the boulder round, you will receive a greater score when you run close to a rolling boulder. Go near the top of the screen, find a boulder that rolls down at the same speed as can run and have it chase you down the screen. You can rack up several thousands points this way, but do not stay on the level too long or the game will release lots more boulders!
Trick - Open the coin door, press and hold down the Select button while turning on the power (simply pull out on the coin-door interlock switch). 64 black and white heads of Bob Dobbs will float across the screen.
Game Play
First event: Pickup the pieces (five) of your weapon... the glaive, avoid all boulders. Second event: Shoot the slayers, rescue your army (very much like Robotron). Third event: Pick up your army, lead it to the hexagon. Fourth event: Break down the front wall of the hexagon... when it is black. Fifth event: Save Princess Lyssa, avoid the beast, avoid his fireballs.
Scarcity in collections (VAPS.org)
Uncommon - There are 16 known instances of this game owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, 11 of them are original dedicated machines, 0 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards have been placed in another game cabinet, and 5 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.
Of the 33,092 video games (2,927 unique) tracked by the Video Game Preservation Society, this game ranks a 15 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most commonly seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on ownership records.
Wanted - We currently do not know of any VAPS members that have gotten around to adding this game to their wish list. The wish-list system is fairly new (not all VAPS members have filled one out) and there are probably a number of collectors who might purchase this game if offered one at the right price.
Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operatos might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range.
