I'm posting this in the software section because, well if I don't have a site to put it on, you guys don't get anymore software.

It's a goodnews/badnews thing.....
The good news is that due to the fact that the old lazarus site was cross-linked more times than a chain-link fence, caching services like the way-back machine have my site on file and I've managed to recover about 95% of it, files and images included.
The bad news is a few files were lost..... Some old (now defunt) wrappers, the gif-based logo pack, and the keypress wrapper, which I still have the source to so I should be able to rebuild it.
Saint and a few others have offered to host, so I'm not worried about that. (If nothing else I'll just buy a domain outright.) I do need help with the site rebuild though as my web-based tech is out of date and I'm not good at building sites anyway.
The old site used to run on moveable type, but I'd like to switch to something better. The only requirements I have is that it's free, It's easy to install, and it's easy to integrate into the existing site (as in maybe a snippet of javascript to say where the blog goes in the html).
The other major upgrade I'd like to add is download tracking. We used to have limited tracking for a while, but it broke quickly. I'd like something that's free, easy to install and again easy to implement. The ability to limit downloads or send me alerts of high useage would be nice as well, but it isn't required.
I welcome any help and advice anyone can give..... the sooner I can get the site up the sooner I can get back to actually making software.
