Iggy Pop & The Stooges
« on: April 24, 2007, 03:03:49 am »
I just got back from seeing Iggy Pop and The Stooges at the Wiltern tonight.

Quite literally the most incredible concert that I have ever seen in my life. There is no way that they were any better in the 60's and 70's.  It was literally like taking a trip back in time.

They are only playing a few more shows together this year. If you are near where they are playing, I BEG you to go see them. Simply awesome!

Here are their remaining dates:

04/27/2007
Seattle, WA WaMu Theater at Qwest Field Events

05/04/2007
Memphis, TN Beale Street Music Festival

05/27/2007
Landgraff, Pinkpop Festival

08/05/2007
Chicago, IL Grant Park

Pay what you have to pay and go see them. Trust me.

I heard my first Iggy Pop song (Search and Destroy) when I started playing Guitar Hero 2. It's a catchy tune.

I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

Really?  Seems there are several companies that use "Lust for Life" and the movie "Trainspotting" used it.

"The Passenger" is another commonly used classic.

The guy turned 60 last week. Look at other 60 year olds, and you'll realize he's doing OK.
