Using ClrMAME Pro to check console roms
« on: April 14, 2003, 09:58:18 pm »
I thought I had ClrMAME down, I've used it without a problem to rebuild, update and scan all my MAME roms for a while now.
But now I'm trying to check my console roms with it.

I downloaded the goodgen.dat (it's a single folder Sega Genesis dat), selected it from ClrMAME's profiler and pointed the Settings/Rom-Paths towards the folder that I keep my Genesis roms in.
But when I do a scan it tells me 'No sets found in rompath'.

The roms are in zips. I downloaded them from newsgroup postings that said they had been verified with goodgen, so they should show up and be correct.

What am I doing wrong? I'm sure its something ridiculously simple that I'm missing.
