Been out of the loop, which mame version to run?
« on: April 01, 2007, 11:58:37 pm »
I built a cocktail machine several years ago and put on I believe version .72 of mame.  Now I'm in the process of building an upright that I have an athlon xp 3200+ with 512 ram and onboard graphics.  Which newer version of mame will give me the most bang for my buck with my setup?  Allow me to play some newer games but won't slow down my system.  Any version between now and .72 that people really like.  Thanks for the help.

I really like the artwork changes introduced since 107, you will need to update your roms, though.
