3.10 OE-A devhook help
« on: March 17, 2007, 06:21:16 pm »
I just rediscovered my PSP and decided to take the custom firmware plunge. i installed firmware 3.10 OE-A (this is the latest and greatest i believe) and im trying to figure out how to install devhook .51

there is just an information overload on the usual sites, i was hoping someone here could help spell it out to me in an easy to digest manner. or at least poit to me to the right places to help me cut through the thousands of threads.
any help would be greatly appreciated

I can't help you with your specific request, but I'm curious what you need devhook for after you have the custom firmware.

Agreed with ken's query....

with 3.10 OE you don't need devhook.  Just copy your legally acquired ISO files to the ISO folder and launch them from the games widget in the XMB.

 :notworthy:
see, how little i know.
i put my psp down for a couple months and im light years behind, ive never seen a scene move so fast.
last thing i did was the CPS2 emulator.

this thread helped me out immensley its the custom firmware users guide.
http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/about79832.html

helped lay it out very nicely.
im glad i dont need devhook, thats more space on my memstick for roms.

my next objective is to play zero divide psx
if i can accomplish that i will consider that an accomplishment

i was playing castlevania last night, WOW. a few graphical glitches on the transparencies here and there, but otherwise perfect.
is there a way to change the aspect ratio?

Press start when you are in an emulated game.  There are options to change from standard PSX resolution to the PSP native res.  Most games look decent stretched to the PSP screen
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

It's region free, though you will run into problems with pal games.
