FIXED!!!!

UPDATE:  Torrent should work for everyone in a few hours or so (Fixed)

The tracker that I use is a private one but they change a setting on mine that makes it freely distributable without being a member of the site.  Until they flip the switch so to speak it doesn't work.  I expect that it will be fixed in the next couple of hours.  I will post an update here once it has been done.  Next time I will wait and not jump the gun but I didn't know.

You will not need to download another file it will just start working.

I started the torrent at 65% about 24 hours ago...I am now at 80%...there is only a SINGLE seeder....ugg...I'd recommend that everyone wait a little until more people can seed.  I am seeding as I go and once I get the full torrent I will remain seeding for a week or two...

I'm new to torrents. Does the whole torrent need to be download in order for the .avi files to work?  That doesn't seem like that would be the case.  But I can't run any of these .avi files on 2 different computers.

Yes, I have Xvid codec installed on both machines. All other videos work fine, including the DVD's I purchased from EmuMovies.

Ahh, nevermind.  Upon looking closer at the individual files inside the utorrent program, I can see that many are on the hard drive, but the download is not fully completed.

don't understand why previously I had "verticle" videos and they were showing up the way they should in mamewah.. now that i updated to this 118 my verticle videos are all stretched// outside of mamewah in windows the video is fine but now when its running in the front end its stretching them?? didnt do that before ? previously i had HQ Now I went with SQ ??

The horizontal folder has the vertical games in horizontal format "Letterboxed".   This is what you want to use with MameWah. 

The vertical folder has the vertical games in a vertical resolution.  This works better with vertical displays.

I checked the torrent and it is fine, so I assume that you took the files from the vertical folder and addded them to the files from the horizontal folder.

Suggestion:

split it into several torrents... chances are, not everyone wants vertical AND with artwork AND horizontal AND high quality AND preview quality...

You mention on your site that you are concerned about the torrent getting to 60 GB ... this splitting of things would solve that problem... people would download what they really wants/use.

The reason that the sets are in Massive Torrents is because with utorrent when you first load up a torrent it displays the directory structure.  You can pick and choose which directories you would like to download.  Having many small torrents would eventually have a hard time staying seeded, that is how I used to distribute them and they were combined because of that. 

In the picture below after opening the torrent in uTorrent the first thing that comes up is the "Add New Torrent" window.  I have expanded the directories and selected ONLY the Vertical and Horizontal SQ directories.  Nothing else will download but those.

uTorrent 1.7.2 is what I am currently using.

Where is the setting to allow selection by folder? My selection screen just shows a single list of file with the complete path. I looked through the options but can't seem to find it.

same as john here.... huuuge list of files and thousands of checkboxes... latest utorrent version

id argue that the end experience for the user cant be predicted ... some use browser add-ons, etc. hence my suggestion

For me, utorrent has always had this screen pop up to select the files every time that I first open a torrent.  Of course if the torrent was already in the queue then 4I would have to remove it and re open it again.  If that is not working for you here is the screenshot of the settings location.

As stated, I get the window to select files, however, they are all listed in one list, not in a tree format.

I am running 1.7.4 now and it still works like my screenshots, I will keep flipping setting until I can make the folders disappear.  Then maybe I can figure out your problem.

If memory serves me correctly, a new feature called "tree view"  was added in uTorrent 1.7.2 but removed in 1.7.3, because of problems with it (should appear again in 1.8+ ).   It looks like Circo may be running 1.7.2 and jcrouse 1.7.3 or higher.   More details at http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=29180

I noticed that I had to click each file individually too.   Most of you will already know this, but I just did the "shift-click" routine on the first and last file I didn't want to download.  Not as fast as folders but quick enough.

Unfortunately, i bought a dual G5 2.3 GHz powermac right before they switched to the intel platform.  DOH!!!!!!   virtual pc is ok but no where near as cool as parallels or vmware for intel macs.

Also your very right, of course #-O have been quite a pain, I will honestly be happy when it's over.  The MAME set is almost as big as everything that I have done before added together, OMG what was I thinking
