Question though some of the games like Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. AKA the stick games, how do you guys play them. I would figure trackball would be the way to go on those. How do you guys roll with those games, also how would you set the trackball up for those games. I figure in T2 use the trackball to hit the calibration targets, but how do you remap the Xaxis inc stuff in player controls input.
Also would like to know how to set trackball up for golden tee games. I have the 1 on mouse control in Mame.ini so I am all good there. Just need to know which things to change in controller input.
Trackball works pretty well with these games.
Mame.net FAQ i10 talks about calibrating term2; short answer, game calibrate with the keyboard.
With hardware analog devices (trackballs, analog sticks, spinners, etc), you remap the "
type Analog". The "
type inc/dec" is
only for digital devices (buttons, 8-way sticks, ect) to simulate (aka fake) analog inputs. Otherwise, it's the same as remapping buttons. More info also at
mame.net FAQ h05.

bump anybody?
Sorry, buddy, I just got home from work. Three hours is a
very short time for someone who a) knows the answer, b) has access to the net to read the question, c) has the time to write the answer, & d) decides to write the answer. After 350+ posts, you should know this. 24 hours is much more reasonable time.
