Yep. Saw the deal before dinner, ordered a couple (select pay by check, you have 30 days to pay after that  ;)), made dinner, came back and it was gone. :o

Some of these deals literally last for minutes.

I missed it too. I've been watching that puppy, ready to pull the trigger for $150. But missing it when it was at $95, that just adds insult to injury... At least the rebate is good for buying the router from any retailer through the July 31st.

If I get fired for checking Amazon every 5 minutes ALL day, or if my wife leaves me for checking Amazon every 5 minutes last night and tonight, I'm going after Nitewalker. Although with at least three of these kits he's probably well defended. By the way, Nitewalker, what are you going to do with the two additional kits you bought yesterday?

The joy of getting the fickle mistress is much greater than the pain when she abandons you. I guess that's why we keep pursuing her....

Seriously I just find it hard to pass up on good deals...
That kit normally sells for $230 or more. At $95 it was a no brainer.

A number of items previously mentioned in this threat are near, at or better than their previous best price (I noted the original poster and the old price as well as the current price).

The one that started it all when NiteWalker listed it at $49.99:
The GMC ATBR1500 for 51.03.

Columbian 27200 12-Piece Clamp Assortment for $14.30 Bremil $19

Bosch 1591EVSK 6.4 Amp Barrel Grip Jig Saw $150.10 Chris G same price

I have the clamps in my cart. And there was some mysterious "Hand Tools Discount" so the clamps were $11.44 delivered.

Here's another great deal I stumbled across.

This is perfect for those wanting a good cordless drill but not wanting to pay the high prices.
A factory Reconditioned Dewalt 14.4 Volt Cordless drill for $56.65 shipped. :o

Scroll down to where there's a button that says add both to get a holster free. Make sure to click on add both and use the promo code fholster to get it. That's a killer deal IMHO. 14.4 volt cordless at corded prices. Sweet. 8)

Click the pic for the deal.

Looks like the prices are heading back up.

Both of the cordless drills and the miter saws have risen back to "regular" prices.

I have a need for a 1/2" drill if anyone finds one. :dunno

here's an idea...

i was able to snag a Porter-Cable 7518 Speedmatic 15 Amp 3-1/4 Horsepower Fixed Base 5-Speed Route for $253.49 shipped...however i don't need it...it's just sitting waiting to be paid for by check(which can always be changed to credit card later)...

i do however need a cheap dewalt DW618PK router kit...

nitewalker got two extra kits...if he & others are doing the same thing as i am...then perhaps we(as a group) could start a trading sub-thread...

the shipping address can easily be changed...so the item could ship from amazon to anywhere...

it could be problematic with rebates though...and it'd have to be a trust-based system since payment would have to be going through a third party...

it's just an idea though...something that would prevent some of us from missing out on stellar deals (eg...like a half inch drill for drew)...

Yeah, I've never personally owned a Milwaukee drill, but everybody I've ever talked to has told me that they're tanks.

When I used to work for a rental shop, that's all that we had.  My brother-in-law is actually the one who was buying it - guy we did side work with moved and took his drill with him, which was also a Milwaukee.  They seem to be THE brand name in 1/2" models as well.

It's back Dewalt DW618PK $152.81 delivered. With the $40 rebate. 112.81 total. I ordered, hopefully fixedpigs, fatfingers  and bratwurst are online!

Of course not! And I'm looking at it now and it says $226.  FUDGE.
