minor problem with Donkey Kong Sanyo monitor
« on: February 17, 2007, 09:48:42 pm »
I have a Donkey kong Jr machine with the sanyo monitor.  The monitor gives a great picture, however the vertical hold has become touchy.  When i adjust the knob, it will hold fine.  When i turn the power on and off, the picture will move to the right about halfway so the picture is split in the middle.  I can adjust it back with the knob and it will hold in that location until i power it off again.  It always ends up in the same place, split in the middle.  Any idea where this problem is?  I dont want to pull the whole thing out and recap it just for this.  Is it the switch itself?  any advice would be appreciated.

If it hasn't been recapped, then that's your problem.
