Yo le daría un poco más de caña a las sombras.
Apenas se notan los degradados.
También jugar con algún efecto en plan "rollo-sideral"....no sé...tipo nebulosa...(como la bruma que hice en el arte del Ghouls)
Fijate en los packagins de las nuevas ediciones 3D el tratamiento que llevan las ilustraciones.

You should work on it more.
The degrees will not appear as you can..(or maybe I Hope).It's seems like the original more colourfull.
You can use some kinda of Fx, more like a cosmic-way..(Take a look at my Ghouls'n ghost artwork...and see the fog...)
Take a look at the new packagings of the new 3d releases, and the illustration's threat.

I hope that may help you.

I think you got them mixed up. The original is on the right, and his new version is on the left. His version is much more colorful, with plenty of embellishments. I think it's a great job.  :applaud:

I like how the highlights and such in skintone are not so drastic... does the "modernizing" job well, and doesn't detract from the source material...

I do hope you darken up the "space" areas though...  if anything work with black but use your current techniques to add depth and dimension to it using blues....
