Catver/Filtering primer?

I have been playing with Catver, more specifically filtering lists in Mamewah. Even when filtering for, say driving games I still get a fair number of non-driving type of games. Is the Catver.ini just not very up to date, or maybe Mamewah is taking anything NOT listed in the catver.ini as being within the filter?

I just figured I'd check and see if this is "normal" or if my system may not be set up right or something.
