classic arcade character - anime style?
« on: January 28, 2007, 11:03:53 pm »
I'm trying to find ideas of any classic video game characters that were originally done (or re-done) in anime style, similar to MegaMan. I'm handpainting my cab, and that style would be easiest for me to do a good job, but I'm trying to decide on something more classic that has broader appeal. Most of my friends are not hardcore gamers and have never heard of megaman.

I guess it's a good thing that it's your cabinet and your decision to make and not theirs. :P  I say go with whatever pleases you.  If you want Mega Man, go with Mega Man.  If you're going to play it safe with the friends, it might help if you point out what games they do like.

Why don't you take a classic character and do it in anime style anyway? Might be kind of cool.
