Will 27" american tri-res monitors fit candy cabs?

This is the cab I have just ordere




it says takes a 29" monitor...

will the 27" wells gardner or billabs tri sync monitors fit in a cab like this? I know its 27" viewable so are the dimensions just right for the candy cab?

I put a 27" television in a Jaleco pony so I would say yes depeding on the mounting situtation.  The tubes should be the same size.

I've read someone had a problem doing a monitor swap in a Pony recently, but I've swapped a Betson 29" into a Super Neo 29 and Capcom Impress w/o issues.
