I have another Tempest-ish PC game...can't remember the name of it.  I'm sure someone here will remember...

Yeah, that game is actually really cool.  At first glance it looks like the effects are not nearly as distracting to gameplay as the original Tempest 2000, which may or may not be a good thing.  Thanks so much for posting the link.

No problem...and keep in mind you can manually edit the INI (or is it CFG) file to set it to run just about any resolution.  It looks pretty damn spanky on the cabinet....and compatible with a spinner too!

Hi,

The name of the other Tempest game is Tsunami..... very neat.

And if you haven't tried Gridwars go get it.  Unbelievably addictive.

I just downloaded this one.... looking forward to firing it up!
