I'm looking for the original pic used in this Motivational Poster. Anybody know where it came from or where to find it?

Okay...that needs to be put into a vector format.  Someone with a ton of free time, please do that!

(Don't even get me started about my half finished vectors....oh so little time.  But I'll finish them eventually!)

Nah, it's not impossible, but it would be a huge undertaking. Trust me, part of my job is vectorising ancient techincal schematics at least this complicated.... But it is painful, no doubt.

I trust you, its not impossible
but I guess that if someone start tracing this, he will never end it. too much to trace.

Kind of a shame. It's a cool image, no doubt. I'd love to have it on my wall framed in my game room. If I ever get hit in the head I may do it, but I have to finish the art for mine first.

Is mario in that pic?  I can't find him, but it seems odd they would leave him out and include almost all of the other characters.  I see luigi and peach, but don't see mario.

Wow, that artwork is incredible. I spent about 20 minutes just trying to identify all the characters. There are only a few left that have me stumped.

I do like that the main mascot-type characters you normally see aren't on here. Master Higgins is wearing Mario's hat, Zelda is represented most prominantly by the owl, and Kirby is wearing Simon Belmont's gear (right next to kid dracula). I'm also impressed that while the art style of each character is similar to the original, they're stylized so that they don't clash with each other. I was also a bit shocked how many Master System games are represented.

Anyone else annoyed by the Wii logo?

Can anyone identify these characters?

Character "A" is from Sega's "Wonder Boy" series of games.

If you're a fan of the SMS Wonderboy (Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, is still one of my all time favorite games) then you may not recognize the character.  Thats because the artwork shown is actually from the PC Engine/TurboGrafx version of the game, titled "The Dynastic Hero"  Each version of the game and system tweaked the character artwork slightly.

Check out this wonderboy page:  http://www.emucamp.com/monsterworld/games.htm

That list the games, but more importantly, shows a nice picture of the Wonderboy character in the top left.  He's shown wearing silver armor but its obviously the same character, just a different set of armor.

A lot of the characters are wearing others' costumes. Mario is to the right and it looks like he's wearing the BurgerTime guy's clothes.

As far as the mystery characters... B are the guys from either Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior. C = ? D is the pig guy that is with the monkey climbing on the goblin's (from Zelda) back.
