Here is what they had to say about a release date and price:

We have prototypes made and will be going into production with it next
year.
At the moment, it's looking good, and people are loving the idea. The
price
would be about $50US plus shipping.


No Christmas goodness for us... :'(

Guess I'll have to wait until my Birthday next year. ;D
