depending on the credit board you will need +12volts and common,at the moment it sounds like you have coin signal and coin common only,i guess you are using a electronic coin mech like a c120 or sr3
if you look at your credit board it should have written next to the input plugs what you need e.g +12(+v, com(grnd),coin, lamp, coin counter(meter)
what credit board is it?

hi the quick connect is a plug type connector when the plugs removed
theres one pin then one missing then four together so 5 pins but a 6 pin plug..

at 1st glance the board looks green but when theres a bit of light behind it it looks blue....

cheers in advance

nothing written on the board only jfmamjjasond think thats just the months of the year..
ive turn the plug round and now the credit button on the board works (some gimp put the plug on back to front)
does this mean the board now has some kind of power?

p.s. the coin mech dont work still (has a sticker saying new 50p) thats what ive been trying

cheers

for you to get credit from the credit button on the credit board  must mean you have power, clean the coin mech and test with a 20p coin
you can meter voltages on the coin mech ribbon cable to see if you have power to the coin mech if you have a multimeter, you could have a faulty coin mech
you must have at least 3 wires going to the credit board

if you lost sound and credit board you have blown a fuse on the +12volt line somewhere
