arcade power supply marquee help

i had an empty hang-on cab that had been stipped of everything apart from the monitor...
i purhased a jamma loom & power supply from e-bay ...
i added a control panel ect ect everything is working ok....
but im unsure how to hook up the marquee light where do i get the power from the main power? the switch mode supply?

You can take it from anywhere except the from the isolation transformer to the monitor.

Normally they have a fused lead from a bank of fuses just off the filter capacitor.

Wire it up by soldering off the main power cord's first connection is a good place. If it ever goes down you know it's getting power from the cord that way.
